Using Form Creator in PITCHcrm

One of the most important, and often overlooked aspects in marketing is the growth of your database. There are a ton of different strategies that can help build your marketing database, and you already have one of the necessary tools, the Form Creator in PITCHcrm. By using Form Creator you can forget about having to manually enter contact information, Pitch does that automatically when a web form is submitted. The most common application of this would be Newsletter sign up on your website or event sign ups, but there are many use cases for Form Creator as well.

Using Form Creator effectively is a simple 3-step process to generate a URL & Embed code. For most applications, we recommend having a unique Tag associated with each form. Here’s how…

Step-by-step Guide

  1. Navigate to Form Creator from the Contacts menu. Click the Add New button.Screen Shot 2024-05-01 at 1.22.38 PM.png
  2. Enter a Title, select or add Tag, and add email address for notifications (optional). Click Next.  **Pro Tip: A Tag is a custom identifier added to the contacts profile when the form is submitted, and it is not seen publicly.   3. Click +Add field to insert the field types for this form, customize the field label, and set them to Optional or Required. Click Next. Screen Shot 2024-05-01 at 1.25.21 PM.png

  5. Congratulations, your web form has been created. Copy the URL or embed code to use the form on a website or in an email button. **Pro tip: You can view the form yourself by copying the URL and pasting in your browser.Screen Shot 2024-05-01 at 1.34.22 PM.png
